Content We Liked: November 6th, 2022

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

I don’t know what to call this kitbashed monotrack looted Rhino to be zooming around as a Megatrakk Scrapjet but I’m posting it. from Warhammer

We have no idea what to call this classic example of Orky Know-Wotz either, other than pretty damn awesome.

We’re already pretty big fans of Richard Gray, and this fantastic slice of WIP from the new Slaves to Darkness release shows why you should be to, with its gorgeously realised tarnished metallic tones.

Ho-damn there’s a lot to love with this diorama, between the converted wheel-tracked transports, the flame effects on the Valkyrie touching down, and the Gone With The Blastwave inspired colourscheme. Spectacular work.

You’re jokin’, you’re jokin’! I can’t believe my eyes! Hatty of Midwinter Minis brings us another of her intensely converted Great Unclean Ones, this time based off Tim Burton’s Oogie Boogie, topping off the resculped “skin” with neon Nurgling Guts and clever use of the TNMBC dice set to delight the Hot Topic teen in all of us.

If there’s one thing you can say about Miniature Painters, we certainly do find the most esoteric of materials to adorn our toy soldiers. Using postage stamps to add décor and texture to a mini is a genius stroke and a bunch of us here at Goonhammer can’t wait to give it a shot ourselves.

A Wargamer’s Guide to Nottingham– Ah Nottingham, did you know there’s more to the Home of Wargaming in the UK than spending embarrassing amounts of dosh at the Forge World store? Nottingham native Heresy & Heroes has compiled a fantastic guide to the city, how to get around, where to eat and drink, and what to see while you’re in town. Well worth a read.
